Lanson Champagne NOW available through Vintage Wine Distributor!

December 7th, 2011

Located in the heart of Reims, Lanson was founded in 1760, and is one of a very few Champagne houses that continue to produce champagne in the traditional non-malolactic style with no oak influence, thus creating a  fresh, aromatic, elegant style of Champagne. Also Lanson ages for at least twice the minimum requirement of 18 months, leaving there wines in the cellar for at least 3 years before disgorgement.

  1. Unless I am mistaken or the law changed, the minimum requirement for “en tirage” is 15 months NOT 18 months as stated above. That make Lanson EVEN BETTER!
